HONK IN PROTEST
For many of us, joining a protest in person is not an option. If there is a protest in your town or nearby, you can support them with a honk and a wave. Loop the block a few times. Encourage your fellow passengers, even tiny humans, to cheer. You can even write messages on your windows.
CHALK ART PROTESTS
Whether it’s a simple phrase or an elaborate drawing, chalk art is a great way to resist.
Grab a bucket of chalk and head to a park, walking path, or other space, and leave a message that will inspire others to resist. Post it on social media to inspire others.

TIPS FOR PROTESTING
If this is your first protest, read the ACLU’s article about your rights. 50501 has compiled great list of Dos and Don’ts.
HOW TO PREPARE
Read this article by NRDC packed with great ideas. This article by Association of Flight Attendants also has several tips.
Research the protest. While this movement is committed to nonviolent resistance and peace, it’s always wise to research the sponsoring organization before you head out.
Go with a friend or ask a friend to check in with you before and after the protest. Give them your emergency contact information and any pertinent health information.
Be prepared by bringing cash, a mask, water, sunscreen, and a snack. If you take medication, consider bringing a dose. Dress appropriately. Sunglasses are an excellent idea, as are hats as, especially as the weather heats up. Wear close-toed shoes.
Don’t bring flag poles, weapons, alcohol, or controlled substances.
Read this article by Electronic Frontier Foundation and their guide to protecting your data.
Stay vigilant and listen to the organizers. It’s OK to leave if you feel unsafe or unable to continue.

If your numbers are correct for possible attendance on June 14, we are past the 3.5 percentage mark that has sometimes been used to claim a change is gonna come. Here here to that!
To everyone attending these protests: BEWARE OF PROVOCATEURS! If shoved, DON'T SHOVE BACK! Don't respond physically to any provocation. MAGAts will try to get riots started so that martial law will be declared.
