11.5 million people all across the country. That’s a HUGE protest. I’m 66 years old and remember Vietnam War protests. Nothing came close to this but it was a concerted effort. And it worked. Once the veil is breached, those losers in Washington DC will fall. But it’s got to be sustained…not just one day! During the 60s and 70s, there were constant protests: civil rights, women’s rights, anti-war, gay rights. It was a convulsion of the oppressed and it worked. It wasn’t perfect but we could begin to breathe and grow and change.
To everyone attending these protests: BEWARE OF PROVOCATEURS! If shoved, DON'T SHOVE BACK! Don't respond physically to any provocation. MAGAts will try to get riots started so that martial law will be declared.
In Woodstock VT we had our 120th day in a row. 12-1 pm. We started on Feb 7, in cold miserable weather. Now it's warmer miserable weather. We average 15 to 25 depending on weather and weekend/weekday. Highest numbers 250, 125, 90.
I’m wearing my taco costume I had from my Halloween costume collection. I found online how to make a chicken hat from an old ball cap. I think I’ll figure out a way to Velcro felt to my sneakers to make chicken feet. I have Penzys spice Resist trial bags to pass out during the March in Pittsburgh.
We have five protests happening in my area in NY but they are not on the list. However, they are registered with Mobilize NO KINGS. Not sure who compiled this google sheet list but there are more and we may not be the only ones not listed. Thanks.
