Yesterday was rough. The passage of the budget resolution and the House vote on the SAVE Act, will harm millions.
Like many of you, both of these votes will impact my life. My kids are Medicaid recipients, and my birth name does not match my current name. Speaker Mike Johnson’s comments on the budget resolution are insulting and misleading. People are believing their rhetoric. We must get louder.
A week’s worth of opportunities to dissent are shared below. Mark you calendars for April 19, as well as the town halls happening across our nation.
Finally, I apologize for not having this our sooner. Our house had three flood this week due to a community drain issue. It’s resolved and we are putting out house back together.
