I wish we could organize one long protest from coast to coast, an unbreakable chain of millions of Americans in the streets at the same time, joining hands and their voices. These individual protests are great, but the visual would be so powerful if it were just one giant protest linking both coasts and every state in between.

Same! (Didn't they do that for Hands Across America?) Idk.

We can still do it energetically. But the same visual, but could be powerful.

There is one person in England who has started a prayer-meditation chain for 15 minutes every night at 7pm (UK time). People far and wide are participating in that. Maybe we can increase THOSE numbers.

Be well!

What about adding the New Orleans second line dancing custom with handkerchiefs and/or umbrellas? Will attract media to cover protests. Can someone find info on thes New Orleans traditions a d the lyrics to “When The Saints Go Marching In”?

There's no such thing as figurative capital, so the "literal" is inherent.

The left/socialists claim to be against the acquisition and use of capital ..what's up? Is capital only ok when it's being used in favor of your own political dogma?

It's perfectly acceptable to chose to shop at stores that align with your values or to avoid those that do not.

You are welcome here, but please do not insult another commenter for their choice of phrasing.

I am only against it when it is gotten by unjust means, at the expense of others, or inhumanely. Most of us believe it ought to be taxed proportionally to help cover social services. The wealthy are wealthy because of the rest us of. We work for them and buy from them. Without us, they would not be wealthy. It's reasonable to ask them to contribute to our healthcare and educations.

What is wrong with this stance?

"I am only against Capital when it's gotten by unjust means"

"The wealthy are wealthy because of us unjustly"

Are you saying all wealthy people? How wealthy must one be before you know for sure it was unjustly attained? Serious question. Dollar amount.

Yes, the people who rule are the biggest socialists on the planet. They "redistribute" wealth from the producers, mostly to themselves.

But there are some people who have built their own businesses and have become wealthy over many years of hard work. They're not billionaires. But some of them are millionaires, or at least they are when you look at assets.

If you say you are socialist but then you turn around and say you want capital for your cause, then guess what. You are actually capitalist. And that is a good thing.

Capital is good. Capitalism means you keep The spoils of your own labor. That is the way it should be.

Without profit, out of what will your wages be paid? Profits ARE people. Profits put food on the table for employees.

Government intervention is the problem. Get them the hell out of the way and watch everyone prosper. Well, except the boot lickers. They will be out on their asses.

THANK YOU so much for this smazing helpful post. Great INFO.

RESIST, PEOPLE!

Show up however you can!

WHY? because

WE ALL ARE BEING SCREWED!

SOLD OUT! BETRAYED!

The LIES and the BRUTALITY are STAGGERINGLY DANGEROUS!

In other words,

the more we know about these pill-addicted, mean, manic, malevolent major weirdos in the trump/musk et al. regime, the more glaringly evident is their will to systematically DESTROY the foundations of our United States for their own ends.

The stupid merciless chainsaw approach to smashing The Rights of The People is not only costly, it is devastating this Nation, and our relationships with formerly allied Nations.

As a consequence, literally millions and millions of our most vulnerable are suffering, will suffer, and truly, will die tragic deaths without the basic sustenance provided by Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and other supports thst The People have earned and are entitled to.

History tells us that "Privatization" always FAILS The People.

NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE.

WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY,

GREED, POWER, EVIL prevail.

SOOOOOO....

A PERSISTENT RUCKUS from MILLIONS and MILLIONS of us (>3.5% of us) is really CRITICAL..

WE DISSENT!

WE RESIST!

WE STAND for THE RIGHTS of ALL THE PEOPLE!
