A CALL
I’d like to begin highlighting regional groups. If you are a part of a state or county group that regularly organizes dissenting events, please comment on this post.

THE NOTE
On this platform, you may catch a note from me discussing regency serials, Jane Austen, and the like. I joined this platform first as an author and have a second Substack dedicated to my works of fiction. Not to worry, I am not abandoning this page or this work; however, I wanted to offer an explanation.

For month we have been calling, but I encourage you, keep calling, especially about the catastrophic cuts to the budget.

“A friend decided to put out a call on May Day for people to show up to protest that afternoon in the circle around the courthouse in our small town. Eventually 10 people showed up, including one person who was not contacted but saw what we were doing. She carries her sign in her car so she can always join in! So many people honked, waved and thanked us! (Of course there were a few who have us the finger or told us to go home. We wished them a good day).”

50501 VETERANS | JUNE 6

50501 Veterans is standing with Veterans in DC and across the country. The DC event will feature Drop Kick Murphys and will be held at the National Mall.
