I'm 71. I live in Mississippi. Hope is in short supply around these parts, but I REALLy think there should be a Seniors March on Washington. Anyone can contribute, but only those over 65 can actually participate. If 65,000, or 650,000, people, over 65 ahow up to protest, it will be a very bad look for DJT if he sends troops to arrest them. All seniors should be standing up for our earned right to our Social Security and Medicare, which we paid for, in advance, for our entire working lives. Perhaps AARP, or some other seniors advocacy group, would sponsor such a demonstration. Our voices would be too loud for this slash and burn administration to ignore. Who can set this in motion, and how can it be carried out?

I am a blue dot in a red state. I know there are many more blue dots in my neighborhood and community, but I think we're all a little cautious about publicly displaying our "blueness." Do you have suggestions on how I can reach out - possibly discretely - to find other likeminded folks? I would love to have gatherings/town hall meetings where we share ideas and form a movement. I think blue dots really want to have something meaningful and productive to move towards but aren't sure where to start or what to do, short of calling our reps - and I don't know how many others are even doing that. TYIA for any suggestions!
